I had never tried washing dishes with a hard soap.
It's suprisingly effective.
Brilliant for glass.
You need to grate a little more for greasy items, but used with the hard brush, which I also purchased, it gets the job done.
I don't tend to bother with gloves. The soap is kinder on your hands than any well known washing-up liquids.
