Basis of Sale
By placing an order via the Air de Provence website it is therefore notification that you agree to our terms and conditions. These terms and conditions will be updated occasionally, please check these before making a purchase. All orders will be subject to the conditions set out below.

Please note that we do not accept any orders placed via our website from outside the United Kingdom. Overseas Deliveries.

Cancellation
We may cancel an order for any reason, for any item, at any time before delivery.

Prices
All prices quoted on the website are in GB Pounds (£) and inclusive of VAT. There is a minimum order value of £10, excluding postage and packaging. Price and availability information is subject to change without notice.

Delivery Charges
Standard UK postage and packing delivery is £3.75.

Delivery
Air de Provence will aim to deliver any item in stock within 7 days of accepting your order unless payment has been made by cheque. (Please see Offline Payment Methods). Unless we have stated otherwise in writing, delivery dates are not guaranteed, although we shall make every reasonable effort to achieve this.

Our normal delivery service is by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or various other carriers. If you are not home during the day, we suggest you provide us with a work address if it is more convenient.

If the parcel does not arrive when you expect it, please do not hesitate to telephone us on: 01625 263 124 between the hours of 9am - 5.00pm, Monday-Friday, excluding all English Bank Holidays.

All delivery charges and times relate to UK mainland addresses.

Overseas Deliveries
We no longer provide an overseas delivery service. We can only deliver to UK and Channel Island addresses. Orders placed from outside the specified areas cannot be accepted, in which case a refund will be issued, minus any Paypal charges incurred as a result of the transaction.

General
No order is binding on you or Air de Provence until we have accepted it.

Weights
Weights given are approximate particularly in the case of the Marseille Soap. This soap can reduce in weight as the water content in the soap evaporates. This is a natural process and is not detrimental to the product.

Colour
While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of colour reproduction, colour may vary in accordance the settings of your monitor, software, or printer.

Size and Appearance
Please note that some of our soaps are handmade and therefore can be slightly irregular in shape and can also vary in colour.

Product Safety
If you have, or suspect you have sensitive skin, we recommend you do a skin patch test before using any product that comes into contact with your skin. A patch test is simple. Apply a small dab to the inside of your wrist or elbow and leave on for as long as 24 hours.
If any redness or tenderness occurs, you may have an allergy and you should avoid any product or products that contain the same ingredients.

If you have an allergic reaction
Discontinue use and thoroughly rinse the effected area with fresh water. If you develop an allergic reaction, please seek professional medical advice.

Shopping Online
Shopping online with Air de Provence is a safe secure and easy process. The order information including your personal details and credit card number are encrypted before being sent over the Internet.
You can browse through our product ranges by selecting the shopping area you want by clicking on the name of the section you want to visit. Whether its hand made soaps or gifts, you can switch between shopping areas adding items into your shopping basket as you browse with your running total always being visible at the bottom left hand side of the web page.

To place an item in the shopping basket, simply select the item and number required, then click the 'Buy' button to add the items to your shopping basket. Once you are happy with your selection, you need to click on the word 'View' in your basket (you can add or delete any item at this stage). Once you are happy with your selection, click on the word 'Checkout' to go to the checkout page, and go through the short checkout process. You will then be directed though to Paypal Secure Payments to complete the payment process.

Returns Policy
We make every effort to make sure that the products and services we offer are of the best quality. If however, you receive items that you are not pleased with or have been damaged in transit, please return the items and the packaging and inform us by e-mail immediately at info@frenchsoaps.co.uk. Please return the goods to us within 7 days of registering the complaint. Whilst we will be happy to refund the cost of the goods, carriage charges will not be refundable.

If you feel our product or services have not met to your expectations, please communicate your comments or suggestions by using the following methods; e-mail, telephone or post.

Offline Payment

You can place your order with us over the telephone, using any of the major credit and debit cards. We also accept offline payment using our Customer Order Form which you can print off this web site or request to be sent to you by post. You can pay by cheque or by postal order. Please make cheques and postal orders payable to: Air de Provence, and write your home address and cheque card number on the back of the cheque. For our protection, orders paid for by cheque will not be dispatched until the funds clear - this could be from 5-7 working days. We apologise for the delay in this process. The minimum order value is £10 excluding packaging and postage.

Business Hours and Holidays
Our business hours are 9am - 5pm UK time, Monday-Friday, excluding all English Bank Holidays. There will be periods, due to holidays, when there will not be anyone available to process your order. These dates will be posted on the home page of our website.

Errors
Every effort is made to ensure that all the information provided on the Air de Provence website is correct at the time of going online.
