Heritage brand Fer a Cheval's Pure Olive slice, is made exclusively with 100% Olive Oil and hangs from a rope. Hang in your wardrobe to keep the moths away.
Slice with a warm damp knife when it arrives and use as required.

An old-fashioned saponification in cauldrons
10 -14 days are taken to 'bake' the soap in a cauldron. This traditional know-how, preciously passed down from generation to generation of Master Soapmakers, results in a 'living' product that will change as it ages and according to the weather.
A 100% authentic from the oldest surviving Savonnerie in Marseille, this soap is often copied but never matched!
Easily biodegradable and non-polluting, it is environmentally friendly healthy and effective product for your whole home.
We say: This is truly a wonder soap. It is pure and gentle, renowned for soothing even the most sensitive skin. It is made with pure Olive oil which is kind to skin, moisturising and nourishing. It is biodegradable and does not pollute the environment both in its manufacture or its use. It's a long lasting soap, so kind on your purse too!
Please note that this soap does not contain any colours or fragrances; the colour is dark (although this does vary from batch to batch) and the natural scent of this soap can be quite strong (almost like a camphorated or smoky scent). It's a bit like Marmite - you either love it or hate it!

High quality soap, what you would expect from Marseille soap. A bit difficult to cut into small bars, you need lots of strength and a sharp knife. Even though, parts of it crumble.
It was delivered in good condition, but they charge £5 for p&p 😕
Having said that, I might consider buying from them again

I’ve been using this for a couple of years for all my cleaning jobs - washing up (I rub brush/cloth against soap and then rub dishes - it shifts heavy grease easily), cleaning worktops, bathroom surfaces - same technique. Use grated in dishwasher with bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. Good for washing clothes by hand. It is ok for my hands - I use smaller bars for washing myself. I live in a soft water area. I don’t have any other cleaning products and no toxic chemicals. And it lasts for ages! Brilliant

I buy these regularly. I love the olive smell and we have it in every bathroom. Also use it to keep moths from woolens and to keep spiders at bay.

I use this for all my washing now. It works very well and I enjoy making it up! I love the smell and it cleans everything in my wash. No more persil and chemicals for me. It is good for my husband too who suffers from excema. He is much better since using this. This is my second packet.
I also use the Fer a Cheval stain remover bar for any proper stains like blood or ink and it works a treat. All ordinary dirt washes clean away with the soap flakes.

I have not needed to use these 300g bars yet as I'm still working through the small 100g bars that were sent as freebies with the order. It's obviously the same soap as the small bars, and those are superb.

I have not used it yet, but it appears to be the same green soap as in the small 100g bars, and that soap is superb. Buying the 2kg bar is very cost-effective.
