Seasonal Scents

Muguet, the delicate and pretty white flower, symbol of renewal and hope, love and joy, is celebrated on May Day across France. A Bank Holiday where sprigs of Muguet are gifted to loved ones. Hawthorne is flowering (find this in Amber Jasmin from Fer a Cheval).

From early May Poppies are beginning to appear in the lavender fields, whilst elsewhere Magnolia trees are blooming freely.

Peony, Iris and Lilac appear later in the month, a month that truly feels like Spring has arrived.
