Hand made in the Pyrenees, this organic goat’s milk soap is enriched with shea butter and sweet orange essential oil for gentle cleansing with a soft citrus warmth.

The fragrance is sunny and familiar — bright but not sharp — while the lather remains creamy and kind to the skin. Cold-processed using fresh organic Alpine goat’s milk.

Why this formula works

Shea butter adds comfort and softness, while olive oil, coconut oil, and goat’s milk cleanse without stripping.

Sweet orange essential oil adds a gentle lift, and preserved glycerin helps prevent dryness.

Also containing Turmeric, Curcuma Longa Root Extract, which is widely known for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and skin-brightening properties. 

Maison Berthe Guilhem are experts in Organic Alpine Goat’s Milk soap. A family business with Swiss accredited naturopathy training and a desire to source the very best for purpose organic ingredients that are turned into wonderful soap bars on their farm in the Pyrenees.

All their soap bars are made 'cold' and contain minimal ingredients. The core of all the soaps are Organic Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil and Organic Alpine Goats Milk. These and any other ingredients are treated minimally to maintain their properties which in turn ensures that each bar of soap is as beneficial as possible to the user.

With 99% Natural Ingredients and a minimum of 70% from Organic farming these are really high quality soaps.

Organic Alpine Goat’s Milk
Sourced from the family’s own free-range Alpine goats, goat’s milk lies at the heart of this soap. Naturally rich in vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids, it has long been valued for its gentleness and suitability for everyday cleansing.

Organic Shea Butter
A time-honoured ingredient in traditional skincare, shea butter helps soften and comfort the skin, making washing feel gentle rather than drying.

Organic Sweet Orange Peel Oil (Expressed)
Extracted from the peel of sweet oranges, this essential oil brings a soft, sunny citrus aroma that feels fresh and familiar, without sharpness.

Organic Olive Oil
A cornerstone of traditional soapmaking, olive oil cleanses gently while helping maintain skin comfort and flexibility.

Organic Coconut Oil
Provides natural lather and effective cleansing, carefully balanced to remain mild and suitable for regular use.

In accordance with cosmetic labelling requirements, this formulation contains the following potential fragrance allergens, which occur naturally from components within the essential oil:

Limonene – A naturally occurring aromatic component found in citrus peel oils.

This ingredient is present at levels permitted for cosmetic use. Individuals with known sensitivities to fragrance allergens should review the full ingredient list before use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

The goat’s milk used in these soaps comes from the family’s own free-range Alpine goats, raised with care in a clean mountain environment. Small herds, attentive husbandry, and organic farming practices ensure the milk is fresh, traceable, and handled with the respect it deserves.

Soapmaking is done slowly, by hand, using a traditional cold-process method. This gentle approach not only preserves the natural qualities of the ingredients, but also avoids unnecessary energy use and waste. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is added without reason.

Ingredients are chosen for their quality, origin, and purpose — always organic where possible, always biodegradable, and never superfluous. The formulas are deliberately short, the packaging minimal, and the final bars designed to last.
