Authentic liquid Marseille soap is created through traditional vegetable saponification, not synthetic surfactants. This time-honoured method naturally produces glycerin within the soap itself, helping cleanse thoroughly while maintaining skin comfort. The result is a balanced, effective cleanse suited to frequent daily use — proper liquid soap in its true form.

Liquid Soap Savonneries

Our liquid soaps come from a small group of respected Provençal soapmakers, each rooted in genuine Savonnerie tradition.

Fer à Cheval — One of Marseille’s oldest Savonneries, representing the historic foundation of traditional vegetable soapmaking and long-standing expertise in true saponification.

Mas du Roseau — Known for simple, well-balanced formulations and practical vegetable soaps designed for dependable everyday use.

Tadé — Reflecting a long Mediterranean soap heritage, centred on authentic vegetable oils and enduring soapmaking knowledge.

Bleu Jaune — A contemporary Provençal Savonnerie focused on traditional vegetable soap bases and carefully composed fragrances, continuing the craft in a modern, everyday format.

Our liquid soaps follow a simple progression based on everyday use:
