This pure, natural liquid shampoo is made traditionally in a cauldron using olive oil, laurel oil, and coconut oil, following the same principles as time-honoured Mediterranean soap making.

With 99% ingredients of natural origin, the formula gently cleanses the hair and scalp while helping to restore balance, comfort, and natural shine. It is particularly well suited to irritated, dry, normal, or oily scalps, and works beautifully on curly, normal, and dry hair types.

Rich in naturally occurring fatty acids, this shampoo cleans effectively , leaving it soft, bouncy, and hydrated. We do not advise this for fine or long hair, the oil content is too strong for these hair types.

Formulation & How It Works

This shampoo is based on a true liquid soap structure, created through traditional saponification rather than modern synthetic surfactants.

• Potassium salts of olive, coconut, and laurel oils gently lift impurities from hair and scalp

• Naturally occurring glycerin, retained from the soap-making process, helps maintain hydration and comfort

• Laurel oil supports scalp balance and helps calm irritation

• Vitamin E (tocopherol) provides antioxidant support for both hair and scalp

The result is a shampoo that cleanses thoroughly yet respectfully, supporting the scalp’s natural function rather than disrupting it. Particularly beneficial to those prone to eczema, psoriasis and other challenging conditions.

Olive Oil (Olea europaea)
Rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants. Helps nourish the hair fibre and support scalp comfort.

Laurel Oil (Laurus nobilis)
Traditionally valued for its purifying and soothing properties, making it especially suitable for irritated or reactive scalps.

Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera)
Contributes cleansing power and natural shine while maintaining softness.

Vegetable Glycerin
Naturally produced during saponification. Helps retain moisture and prevent dryness.

Vitamin E (Tocopherol)
Antioxidant that supports scalp health and helps protect the oils within the formula.

This shampoo is fragrance-free and contains no essential oils or added parfum.

It does not contain any declared fragrance allergens under current cosmetic regulations. The formula relies solely on saponified plant oils for cleansing and performance.

This shampoo reflects a minimal-intervention approach to hair care, prioritising biodegradable ingredients, traditional craftsmanship, and functional simplicity.

The formula is made using plant oils and water, without silicones, synthetic surfactants, or unnecessary additives. All cleansing agents are readily biodegradable, breaking down safely after use.

Produced using traditional cauldron saponification, the shampoo retains naturally occurring glycerin and avoids the need for added conditioners or polymers. Its liquid format offers a simple, low-impact alternative to heavily processed shampoos, while remaining effective and economical in use.

Wet hair, apply shampoo, lather and rinse thoroughly. Can be used daily, but with regular use you will probably drop back to every two or three days.

DHL deliver Monday - Friday, at peak seasonal times and in some areas they deliver Saturday, this is not something in our control and do not advise you to rely on this. Use Royal Mail for weekend delivery.

Signed for - this is the same as Royal Mail tracked 24hr with the inclusion of a signature on delivery. These parcels will not be left if you are out.
