Marseille Liquid Soap is crafted using the same principles as Traditional Savon de Marseille and formulated to be as close as possible to it.
The key ingredient in Marseille Liquid Soap is Coconut Oil.
A natural cleanser, coconut oil is rich and moisturising, whilst providing a soft lather without the need for SLS or other artificial chemical agents. (although this will depend upon the water in your area).
All our liquid soaps, from Fer a Cheval and Savonnerie Bleu Jaune, are 'baked' in a Cauldron using the same saponification process that results in your Traditional Savon de Marseille.
Minimal ingredients that are 96% or more of natural origin ensure that the soaps are suitable for most sensitivities and daily use for hand, body and hair.
The other ingredients:
Tetrasodium Glutamate diacetate; this is a stabiliser, it keeps the product consistency without the need for you to shake before each use!
Decyl glucoside; this helps prevent the soap seperating when it comes into contact with water and your skin.
Hydroxyethylcellulose: this is a thickner
Tococepherol: this is an antioxident that stops the product oxidising when in comes into contact with air.
