A Postcard from Provence

A Postcard from Provence

We've just come back from a trip to Provence where we went to see the savonneries that make our fragrant products. It was great to meet the real people behind our products and it was inspiring and heartening to see that all our products are lovingly and carefully made in businesses that are family run. We think this makes a difference - these people care about the people who work for them, they care about the environment and they care about the ingredients they use and the wonderful products that result. We know this because we saw it first hand.

Provence is such an inspiring region for fragrance.. At the beginning of May when we were there it was fresh and verdant, the sun was shining but there was still a chill in the air. Iris flowers were flowering by the road side and wild herbs flourishing on paths and the edges of fields. The Spring blossom was just on its way out and the Lavender fields not far from blooming.

We came back with a spring in our step and a strong inclination to fill our homes with fragrant reminders of our trip. Here are some of our favourites!

New Fresh Grass diffusers from Durance, an amazingly fresh and crisp scent.

Fragrances of Provence selection pack of French Soaps with Lavender, Verbena, Mimosa and Lily of the Valley

Freesia candle by Geodesis unbelievably fragrant, like a vase of fresh flowers. The perfect pick-me-up!
