Le Chatelard 1802 Provence. A look at our new Brand of Fragranced Soaps.

New and Exclusive to us in the UK, Le Chatelard 1802 began as a lavender farm in Saint Auban sur l'Ouvèze in the Drome region of Provence. Generations later they slowly diversified by selling lavender sachets direct to customers on a market stall in Nice. From here they went on to make soap and building on the success of this, built their own savonnerie, at the original Lavender Farm, in 2004.

There are two formulations of soap bar from Le Chatelard 1802 Provence

We love the quality of their soaps; "the Squares" are all Palm Free and use a rich plant based blend of Coconut, Olive and Almond Oil;  "the Rectangles"  are extra gentle and blend Responsibly Sourced Palm with Sweet Almond Oil. All contain a minimum of 72% natural plant oils allowing them to be official Marseille Soaps.

Fragrances range from traditional Market Soaps to Contemporary and interesting and unusual!

If you love the scent of Rose, we have a classic  traditional Rose, Rose Flower (the exfoliating one), or you could try Rose & Bay or Rose & Peony

Herb fragrances consist of Eucalyptus, Basil, Mint Flower (the exfoliating one), Fern, Lemon Thyme, Rosemary Flower (exfoliating), Aloe Vera or a fruity Strawberry & Basil
