A natural solution that is effective against stains from fruit, coffee, tea, herbs, blood, grease, wine, ink, etc.
Terre de Sommières is a natural clay with a strong stain-removing power. It was discovered in the village of Sommières near Montpellier. Combined here with RSPO Palm and Coconut Oils this is a powerful bar and the small size makes it an indispensable travel companion.
This is a very typical soap that you find in the French Markets. It's composition is very specific and is effective at removing all stubborn stains on all types of textiles including ink, lipstick, grease & blood. Made from all natural ingredients it does not wreck your hands when you are doing hand washing (Hurrah!). It is also biodegradable and does not contain detergents so if you are wanting to have a more eco friendly lifestyle then washing with this soap is spot on.
How to use: wet the stained area with cold water (greasy collars and cuffs, grass stains on cricket whites, egg yolk on a shirt etc) rub the bar of soap over the stain to get a good coating of soap, leave for 10 - 15 minutes and then pop in the normal wash or hand wash as normal. I find this soap very effective on cricket grass stains and oily stains.

Plant Oils (Palm, Palm Kernel & Coconut)
These create a rich, foamy lather and give the bar its strength and durability. Coconut oil boosts cleansing power, while palm oils add creaminess and stability. -
Sommieres Clay
A natural French clay, prized for generations as a stain remover. Highly absorbent, it draws out grease, oil, ink, and dirt from textiles and surfaces. -
Orange Essential Oil
Brings a fresh citrus fragrance while adding mild antibacterial and degreasing qualities. Perfect for keeping laundry and linens bright and fresh. -
Salt (Sodium Chloride)
Naturally hardens the soap so it lasts longer. -
Limonene
A natural component of orange peel oil, included for transparency.

Have used it on four items of clothes with sweat, fake tan etc stains and they have disappeared. You do need to spend a little time scrubbing it but once that is done, stick in washing machine and comes out stain free.

Having read how wonderful this stain bar was 'have yet to come across a stain it can't handle' etc maybe my expectations were a little high. As I say, it is still early days and I'm hopeful that it will come into its own eventually but for now, on the few items I've used it on, I have to say that I am disappointed. Someone suggested that along with the bar I also use a small amount of washing up liquid and that particular stain did disappear in the wash but surely the bar should work without any additional help - the jury is still out but I will keep trying

I really wanted this to work but, in all honesty I really didn't think it would.
I used it on nasty stains on white linen mix, just wet the fabric and rubbed the bar over then put it in a normal wash, at the end of the cycle the stain had completely vanished, nothing more to be said. 😊

This soap is brilliant, I used it on my 'no longer quite so white' summer tops and amazingly it brought them up bright spanking white again.
Absolutely delighted, I didn't know if it would make a difference or not, but am so glad I gave it a go.
Also good for gardeners hands and nails - muddy stains and grubby finger nails no more :0)
Will certainly be buying more.
