Aleppo Soap (or Savon d’Alep) is considered the ancestor of all traditional soaps, originating over 2,000 years ago in the ancient city of Aleppo, Syria. Its simple ingredients of olive oil, laurel berry oil, lye and water form a hard, long-lasting bar that nourishes skin and cleans naturally.

After the soap paste is cooked, each block is hand-cut, stamped, and left to mature for 6 to 9 months, allowing the exterior to harden and turn golden while the inside remains rich and green. This natural aging process creates a mild, highly effective soap used for centuries across the Middle East and the Mediterranean.
