This authentic Aleppo soap contains only four ingredients — olive oil, laurel oil, water, and soda — nothing unnecessary, nothing synthetic. Every bar is a reflection of ancient craftsmanship: slow-cooked in a cauldron, air-dried for months, and shaped entirely by hand. The result is a pure, biodegradable, and skin-kind soap that cares for you and the planet.
Handcrafted in Syria using centuries-old methods, this 20% Laurel Oil Aleppo Soap represents one of the world’s oldest and most authentic skincare traditions. Made each winter between December and March, immediately after the olive harvest, it’s slowly cooked in a cauldron, then left to cure in the open air for nine months — a process that gives the soap its unique dual tone: deep golden on the outside, green within.
Rich in olive oil and laurel oil (20%), this traditional formulation gently cleanses while maintaining the skin’s natural moisture balance. Olive oil nourishes and softens, while laurel oil — revered since Antiquity for its antiseptic, purifying and healing qualities — helps soothe and protect sensitive or problem skin.
Naturally hypoallergenic, dermatologist-recommended, and 100% natural, this is true Aleppo soap at its best: perfume-free, colour-free and palm oil-free. Suitable for daily use on the face, body, and hands, and even gentle enough for delicate or allergy-prone skin.
As in the Orient, place a bar in your linen cupboard to subtly scent and naturally repel moths.
