Composition & Ingredients
Olive & Laurel Aleppo Soap
Olive oil forms the base of the bar and is saponified in cauldrons. Laurel berry oil is incorporated during cooking and becomes part of the soap itself. This is a two-oil formulation in which both oils determine the structure of the finished bar. The proportion of laurel influences firmness and cleansing strength. The soap is then aged for an extended period to reduce moisture and stabilise the bar before release.
The Formulation
Laurel Oil
Laurel berry oil contains naturally aromatic compounds and cleansing fatty acids. In Aleppo formulations, it influences hardness, cleansing strength, and the distinctive herbal profile of the finished bar.
INCI: Laurus Nobilis Fruit Oil
Olive Oil
Olive oil forms the historic foundation of Marseille soap. Naturally rich in oleic acid, it produces a mild, stable lather and contributes to a firm, long-wearing bar with notable skin tolerance. In traditional olive-based formulations, it defines both the structure and the character of the finished soap.
INCI: Sodium Olivate
Activated Charcoal
Activated charcoal is a high-surface-area carbon used for its deep grey-black tone and mild adsorption properties. When included in soap, it becomes part of the bar’s formulation.

Ingredients
Sodium olivate, aqua (water), sodium laurate, laurus nobilis (laurel) fruit oil, glycerin, charcoal powder, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, sodium hydroxide 100% des ingrédients sont d'origine naturelle.

This product is fragrance-free and does not contain added perfume. Individuals with sensitivities should review the full ingredient list before use.

Use & Suitability

Rich in trace elements and essential fatty acids, it is gentle but effective for exfoliating normal, oily or combination skin. Use regularly but not daily, for a purifying scrub of the body and face, helping to remove blackheads, eliminate dead surface cells and thoroughly cleanse the skin.

Enriched with active charcoal this soap removes impurities and gently detoxifies the skin. Best for Oily, Combination and delicate skin types, it can also be used occasionally to treat 'condition'.


This soap is made using traditional cauldron saponification, a slow process that transforms olive and laurel oils into a naturally moisturising soap. The formula is palm oil free, synthetic surfactant free, and fully biodegradable. Activated charcoal gently draws out excess oil and impurities without stripping or drying the skin, making it especially suited to combination, oily, and urban-exposed skin.

No synthetic dyes, no SLS/SLES, no parabens, no petrochemicals.
Just olive oil, laurel oil, charcoal, water, and time.
