Sodium Bicarbonate: Natural Cleaning Power

Sodium bicarbonate works because it is mildly alkaline (pH ~8.3), non-toxic, and reacts predictably with acids to lift grease, break down stains, deodorise fabrics, and regulate pH.
Its water solubility makes it excellent for household cleaning, laundry, and deodorising, while its gentle exfoliating properties mean it's also suitable for personal care uses such as toothpaste or homemade deodorant.

Sodium bicarbonate

Oven & BBQ Cleaner

Mix bicarbonate of soda with water to form a paste.
Apply inside the oven, leave for 12 hours, then wipe clean with warm soapy water and rinse.

Alternative method:
Spray oven walls with water → cover with bicarbonate → lightly respray → leave overnight.
Wipe away with vegetable soap and rinse thoroughly.

Washable Surfaces

Dilute:

1 tbsp Black Liquid Soap

1 tsp Baking Soda

1L hot water
Pour into a spray bottle, shake well, and clean as usual.

Signed for - this is the same as Royal Mail tracked 24hr with the inclusion of a signature on delivery. These parcels will not be left if you are out.
