French Soaps is driven by a simple conviction: home fragrance should be selected on formulation, not presentation.

We work with established fragrance houses and independent makers whose products reflect real expertise in scent construction, raw materials and manufacture.

Only products that meet our standards appear in our range.

Every candle, diffuser, linen mist and room spray is chosen for fragrance quality, material integrity and how it performs in everyday use.

What Defines the Home Fragrance We Stock

Composed using defined top, middle and base notes to ensure clarity and consistency.

• Controlled, balanced scenting
Fragrance is present and recognisable without being excessive or overpowering.

• Format-specific formulation
Candles, sprays and diffusers are each selected for how the fragrance performs in that format.

Blends combine naturally derived components with contemporary synthetic materials for stability and control.

Environmental Position

Home fragrance is not a zero-impact category.

Most formulations combine renewable and synthetic materials. Some components biodegrade readily; others are designed for stability and longevity.

We favour current-generation materials with improved safety and environmental profiles and avoid positioning products as “natural” unless this is fully supported.

Allergen Transparency

Fragrance allergens that require declaration are listed where present. Some products are formulated without declarable allergens and are identified clearly.

Vegan & Animal Testing

Our home fragrance collection is made without animal-derived ingredients and none of the range is tested on animals.

Packaging

We favour glass and recyclable materials where appropriate, with packaging that protects the product without excess.
