Rich, protective, and deeply nourishing, this multi-purpose balm is designed for hardworking hands and feet, as well as arms and legs that need extra care and comfort. It may be called Gardeners’ Balm, but we think this is a true all-rounder — a reassuring staple for almost everyone.

Formulated and made by Maison Berthe Guilhem, this balm is based on time-honoured ingredients chosen for their ability to repair, protect, and soften dry or stressed skin. The texture is rich and substantial, yet melts with warmth, allowing a small amount to go a long way.

Certified organic and highly concentrated, it’s a balm you reach for when skin needs real support, not quick fixes.

Formulation & How It Works

This balm uses an anhydrous, water-free formulation, meaning every ingredient works directly on the skin without dilution.

• Organic shea butter and beeswax form a breathable protective barrier that helps lock in moisture

• Organic sunflower and evening primrose oils replenish essential fatty acids and improve skin resilience

• Organic goat’s milk contributes skin-comforting lipids, traditionally used to nourish sensitive or dry skin

• Palmarosa essential oil provides a light, herbal-floral fragrance while supporting skin conditioning

The result is a balm that protects against dryness, wind, cold, and frequent washing, while helping skin regain softness and flexibility.

Organic Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii)
Intensely nourishing and regenerative. Helps soothe, protect, and support skin exposed to external stressors. Naturally rich in vitamins A, E, and F, and antioxidant compounds.

Organic Beeswax (Cera alba)
Responsibly sourced. Forms a natural protective barrier while allowing skin to breathe, helping prevent moisture loss.

Organic Sunflower Seed Oil (Helianthus annuus)
Lightweight yet nourishing. Supports the skin barrier and improves suppleness.

Organic Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera biennis)
Exceptionally rich in linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid. Helps soothe, soften, and support skin repair.

Organic Goat’s Milk (Caprae lac)
Traditionally used for centuries to comfort and nourish dry or sensitive skin.

Organic Palmarosa Essential Oil (Cymbopogon martini)
Lightly fragranced and naturally antimicrobial. Supports skin conditioning and healthy regeneration.

Vitamin E (Tocopherol)

In accordance with cosmetic labelling requirements, this formulation contains the following potential fragrance allergens, which occur naturally within fragrance compositions:

Geraniol, Linalool, Citral, Farnesol – Naturally occurring aromatic components found in essential oils.

These ingredients are present at levels permitted for cosmetic use. This balm is naturally fragranced with palmarosa essential oil and also contains shea butter, evening primrose oil, beeswax, plant oils, tocopherol, and fresh organic goat’s milk.

Individuals with known sensitivities to fragrance allergens or essential oils should review the full ingredient list before use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
