Made with RSPO-certified palm oil and natural glycerin, this soap is suitable for everyday use on hands and body. The inclusion of chlorophyll, a plant-derived pigment, brings vibrant green colour and a botanical character to the formula, while the laurel leaf fragrance adds a crisp, herbal freshness. Each bar is wrapped in reusable cotton gauze, offering a simple, plastic-free alternative to conventional soap packaging.

What Does the Fragrance Smell Like?

Laurel Leaf is fresh, green, and softly aromatic, with herbal notes and subtle citrus undertones. Clean and invigorating, the fragrance evokes crushed leaves and Mediterranean landscapes.

Chlorophyll is the natural green pigment found in plants and is responsible for capturing light during photosynthesis. In soapmaking, chlorophyllin-copper complex is used as a stable, plant-derived colourant that delivers a fresh green tone while maintaining formulation stability. Its inclusion reflects a preference for botanical-inspired colour drawn from nature rather than synthetic dyes, aligning with traditional and plant-forward soapmaking practices.

Cotton gauze is a natural, breathable fabric made from fibres sourced from the cotton plant. Woven using a loose, open structure, it allows soap to air-dry naturally while protecting it from damage during storage and transport. All Mas du Roseau perfumes are sourced exclusively from Grasse, chosen for their quality and created with as few allergens as possible. Where colour is required, this is created French mineral and plant-based dyes, favouring natural origin and visual restraint.
