Hand made in the Pyranees,  this is the only exfoliating bar in the range. With organic goat’s milk the soap is enriched with sweet almond oil and finely ground apricot seed powder for gentle cleansing with a light exfoliating touch.

Naturally fragranced with palmarosa essential oil, the scent is soft and floral rather than sweet — fresh, clean, and quietly elegant. Cold-processed in small batches using fresh organic Alpine goat’s milk, the soap produces a creamy lather while lightly polishing the skin.

It’s a beautifully balanced everyday soap for those who enjoy gentle exfoliation without harshness.

Why this formula works

Organic olive oil and coconut oil form a mild, reliable soap base, while fresh organic goat’s milk brings natural softness and skin comfort. Sweet almond oil helps maintain suppleness, ensuring the exfoliation remains kind and controlled.

Finely milled apricot seed powder gently refreshes the skin, while mineral clays support a clean, balanced finish. As with all Maison Berthe Guilhem soaps, cold-process soapmaking preserves naturally occurring glycerin, supporting moisture retention and everyday comfort.

A note on Apricot Oil
This is a lovely all round skin conditioning oil. The emollient plant oil coming from the kernel (the seed of the seed) of the delicious apricot fruit. Like other plant oils, it contains antioxidant vitamin Eand nourishing fatty acids (mostly oleic acid 54-74%, linoleic acid 12-35%).

Nourishing and moisturizing, as a high oleic oil it's ideal for dry skin types and is quite easily absorbed into the skin.

Also containing Apricot Seed Powder for exfoliation . Apricot seed powder comes from the kernel at the heart of the fruit and has long been used in traditional skincare as a gentle, natural exfoliant.

When finely ground, it helps lift surface dullness without scratching or irritation, making it particularly well suited to soaps designed for regular use. Paired with nourishing oils and goat’s milk, it offers a soft, effective way to refresh the skin while keeping it comfortable.

All their soap bars are made 'cold' and contain minimal ingredients. The core of all the soaps are Organic Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil and Organic Alpine Goats Milk.
